Harris Medical Associates is seeking a BC Orthopedic Surgeon or Family Practice w/ BC Sports Medicine to provide coverage in California Physician shall furnish services at the Sacramento VA Medical Center, Mather, CA and Martinez VA Outpatient Clinic, Martinez, CA . October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016—Assignment Dates
• Normal weekday work hours are typically Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Is a fulltime position and the provider will work 40 hours a week plus call. Clinic or OR Schedule: Will vary depending on clinical and administrative responsibilities.
• Potential for telephone “Emergency Department call” only. Call back is expected within 10 minutes. Telephone call hours are Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM; Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, and are estimated at 10 days per month.
• Standards of Care: The contract Orthopedic physician (s)’ care shall cover the range of Orthopedic services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards
• Harris Medical Associates pays a competitive hourly rate, Travel, lodging and malpractice. We also help with credentialing!
