JenCare Neighborhood Medical Centers has 4 outpatient state of the art clinics in Richmond and 3 in the Tidewater/Hampton Road/Virginia Beach area (Newport News, Norfolk and Portsmouth), with a 4th opening in Virginia Beach summer 2014. Thanks to our success and rapid growth, we will be hiring BC/BE Endocrinologist. This position will manage a panel of patients locally with Diabetes and Endocrine disease as well as support our other primary care providers throughout our organization in the management of their patients utilizing telemedicine technology.

For more than 25 years we have been delivering unsurpassed patient care to a geriatric and chronically ill patient population. Our staff is comprised of talented primary and specialty care internists who utilize a collaborative and team-based approach enabled by technology to deliver the best care possible to our patients.

As a leader in preventive medicine we are seeking an Endocrinologist/Diabetes Management physician who appreciates complicated elderly patients, excels in a collaborate environment and strives for positive outcomes for their patients. Our providers manage patient panels of 350 to 450 patients. On average the daily schedule is less than 20 patients per day. New patients are scheduled at 40 minute intervals and follow ups are 20 minutes. Clinic hours are M-F 7:30 to 4:30 with minimal phone call every 10-12 weeks.
