Emergency Medicine Physician - (ER Doctor, EM Doctor) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 01/01/2015Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day
Emergency Medicine physician needed in coastal Texas area facility for several months of coverage. This is a 9 bed emergency department which see approximately 32,000 visits annually. ED operates as a level 4 trauma facility with 24 hours of physician coverage and 20 hours of midlevel provider coverage a day. Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians(locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
Required Qualifications
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Primary Care Specialty.
