Specialty needed: Emergency Medicine Physician
Qualifications: Must have clean background
Location: Ahoskie, NC
Practice setting: Hospital - ED has 15 total beds
Dates or start date: 6-10 shifts per month and ongoing
Shift times: 3-12 hour shifts per week
Patients per day: 57
EMR: Athena, 35 hours of paid training! Computer system includes evidence based medicine suggestions. Patients waiting in clinic use a computer tablet to click on their symptoms and then this info shares over to you.
Support staff: Medical Assistant covers the front scheduling walk-ins, insurance and payment. You and another Family Nurse Practitioner see patients. A Supervising Physician is assigned to you and is available for phone calls and will review 10% of your cases.
Procedures: NO in-office procedures
DEA required: Yes including prescriptive authority or CSR
