Contractor Emergency Medicine physicians, including one identified as the Contractor’s lead physician, shall:
• Hold an unrestricted license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the U.S. or in the District of Columbia
• Be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Neither board eligibility nor certification in any other specialty will be accepted.
• Have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in emergency Department care within the last three (3) years. Time spent in an emergency Department setting as a physician intern or in a residency program shall count toward the two (2) years of experience. VA experience is preferred.
• Be currently certified in American Heart Association Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Not have had a medical license revoked or limited by a State, Territory, Commonwealth or the District of Columbia or be pending any such action.
• Not be pending or have had past felony charges against him/her.
• Be a U.S. citizen or be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and have the ability to communicate, understand, read and write English proficiently.
