Emergency Medicine Physician - (ER Doctor, EM Doctor) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day
Located on the outskirts of Tampa Bay this hospital is situated in a location that boasts beautiful coasts and world-class beaches. The hospital is currently seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for their Emergency Department. The Emergency Medicine physician will work in a 22 bed Emergency Department which sees approximately 43,000 visits annually. Responsibilities include stabilizing, evaluating and diagnosing patients in the main Emergency Room.
Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians(locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
Required Qualifications
Board Certified Emergency Medicine
EM residency-trained required

A man called Isaac Hudson moved to this area in 1878 and founded a post office in Hudson Landing and soon this town became famous for its lumber, although in the 1930’s through the 1950’s fishing and the shrimp business also became important industries in Hudson. New restaurants were built on the waterfront which attracted many tourists to this town filled with over 25 canals!
