Job Description - The Flight Medicine Physician position offers: - Full-time - 40 Hours per Week, 8 Hour Work Day - Predictable Schedule, Monday-Friday Hours - Work/Life Balance with No Call or Weekends - No Billing Hassles - Reasonable Patient Load - Freedom from Malpractice Insurance Worries - Fully Insured Patient Population Requirements: The Flight Medicine Physician will have the following requirements: - Completion of any medical residency program and must have at least 3 years of US military flight surgeon experience. - Aerospace medicine board certification is preferred. - At least 35 hours of direct patient care in th past year and a minimum of at least 3 years experience in the last 10 years having served as a privileged flight surgeon at a US military installation. - Any active unrestricted state license acceptable - BLS and ACLS Certifications Company Overview: Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems.
