Emergency Medicine Physician sought! 12 - 12 hour shifts a month! We are accepting applications for a board certified emergency medicine physician. A modern, fully equipped facility with on-site X-ray, specialty treatment rooms, and pleasant courteous staff awaits the candidate hired to this position. The Hospital’s Emergency Department serves a primary catchment area of 135,000 residents and sees an average of 35,000 patients a year. Staff ED physicians normally work 12-14 shifts/month (currently 12-hr shifts). Completed in 2006, the 18,970 square foot facility has 16 private exam and treatment rooms and a 5-bed overflow/observation unit. Although not a designated trauma center, the facility has two well-equipped trauma rooms, an X-ray room, and rooms specially equipped for cardiac, obstetrical and psychiatric patients. The compensation package includes a competitive salary, health insurance, life insurance, malpractice, 403B retirement plan, voluntary 457B plan, and CME allowance.
