Emergency Medicine Director sought! We are accepting applications for a board certified Emergency Department Medical Director. A modern, fully equipped facility with on-site X-ray, specialty treatment rooms, and pleasant courteous staff awaits the candidate hired to this position. The ED Medical Director is responsible for providing leadership and management for the ED physicians, as well as collaborating with the ED Nursing Director in creating a work environment that is mutually supportive of staff and physician needs and drives quality patient outcomes. Currently, the Medical Director works 10-11 shifts per month and devotes an average of 8 hours per week on administrative duties. Additionally, the ED Medical Director provides a link between the hospital and the community in monitoring community needs and ensures input into EMS systems and disaster planning. Average of 35,000 patients a year. The compensation package includes a competitive salary, plus an administrative stipend, health insurance, life insurance, malpractice, 403B retirement plan, voluntary 457B plan, and CME allowance.
