Primary Care Physicians needed in outpatient infirmary in Florence, Arizona. We need two Medical Directors in Florence - temporary or permanent. Credentialing process takes 3 to 6 weeks. The care is outpatient medicine; however, some of the internal medicine cases are complex. Supervising one to two mid-levels can become a part of the duties, if you transition to a permanent position with this client. We do not follow our patient care responsibilities into the hospital, so there is no hospital call and there are no hospital rounds. Locums assignment available immediately, and we prefer candidates interested in permanent placement. We prefer physicians who are residency trained in FP or IM, and we will consider GPs with 3 years experience. This opportunity is ideal, if you are looking for regular predictable weekday hours and light call.
