Overview:
Chapman Medical Center (CMC) is a 114 bed hospital with the backup capabilities of an acute care medical center. CMC provides treatment to approximately 10,000 patients annually. The Emergency Department has 8 beds and provides single physician coverage with two 12 hour shifts. On call services include Family and Internal Medicine providers for admissions, OB/GYN, Surgery, Ortho, ICU, Cardiology, and a Spine Center. This hospital is staffed with exceptional ED Nurses, Techs, and ancillary staff.
Requirements:
* California Medical License
* ABEM/ABOEM Boarded or Board Eligible
* Current ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications
* DEA License with California registration

Compensation:
Physicians are independent contractors and are given base rates with the opportunity to earn productivity pay at specific sites. VEP provides independent contractors with pension plan administration, flexible schedules, and paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage. Physicians also enjoy the benefit of becoming a stockholder which allows them to be actively involved in the governance of the company.
