Hospital Physician Partners, an emergency medicine management organization that has transformed EDs into community assets for more than 30 years, is currently seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for Whitesburg ARH Hospital. This 10 bed emergency department is fully prepared with the latest equipment to ensure immediate care for life threatening conditions.

Whitesburg ARH hospital is a 90-bed acute care which enjoys a reputation of excellence as a patient oriented and community centered hospital. The facility is fully accredited by the JCAHO and provides
services such as Maternity, Diagnostic Imaging, Home Healthcare, Laboratory, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Surgical Services, among others. Whitesburg ARH is undergoing an aggressive expansion and renovation project. A new obstetrics/gynecology and surgical services wing opened in this summer. The project will then move to the third floor of the existing facility and the renovation will result in all private rooms which will increase the number from 17 to 44 private rooms for the hospital.

Whitesburg, located in Letcher County, is nestled at the base of the scenic Pine Mountain chain in Southeastern Kentucky near the Virginia border.
