Locums Emergency Medicine Opportunities in Philadelphia
Advantage Locums has a client in Philadelphia that is seeking locums Emergency Medicine Physicians to offer locums ED coverage. There are 3 hospitals in the Philadelphia area that are in need of Locums EM docs that have ongoing availability starting in July.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 yrs of completing residency) Emergency Medicine trained Physicians, ABEM or ABOEM
• OR FP/IM with ED experience, must have ACLS and ATLS active certifications. EM boarded physicians can be exempted
• AAPS candidates will also be considered
• Active PA License and DEA
• Need ED coverage: starting JULY 1st ongoing for several months
• Shifts: 100+ between 3 hospitals (2 facilities located in Philly, 1 in Langhorne PA)
• Annual volume: between 30,000-50,000
• Shift hours: 8-9 hrs; Langhorne site will consider 12 hr shifts
• Specialty Backup available: Yes
• Does ER write admission orders: No
• 2 of the facilities located in Philly have a fast track, Langhorne does not
• Mid level coverage at each Facility
• Credentialing time frame:4-6 weeks
• EMR: Highland EMR, 1to 1 scribes- all charts must be completed during assigned shift time. No additional hours can be logged for charts
Travel and lodging will be provided while on assignment along with a competitive hourly rate. Advantage Locums will also provide mal practice while on assignment.
Pay is negotiable and malpractice insurance is provided.
