EmCare is seeking EM Physicians for Brand New Facility in New Orleans! BC EM (ABEM/AOBEM) only.
ED Features:
- Estimated 15K annual visits
- 21-bed ED
- 10-bed pediatric unit
- 24 hrs phys cvg
- 12-hr shifts (7a-7p / 7p-7a)
- A-rated malpractice w/tail
Facility:
The groundbreaking for the New Orleans East Hospital has generated increasing excitement for the return of high quality healthcare services to the Greater New Orleans area. Construction activities commenced in January 2012 and are anticipated to conclude in the first half of 2014. The project consists of the renovation of an existing 6-story east tower of the former Pendleton Memorial Methodist Hospital and the construction of a new 3-story Patient Care Pavilion on the site.
The hospital will provide complete surgical services, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, emergency services, patient education and social services to both the inpatient and outpatient environments.
