New Emergency Medicine Locums opportunity in Poughkeepsie, NY. Advantage Locums is looking for ABEM or ABOEM Board certified or Board eligible physicians to start in March for an ongoing need with our client in Poughkeepsie, NY
Here are a few details:
• Facility is located in Poughkeepsie, NY
• 365 bed community hospital
• Annual Patient Volume: 66,000; approx. 20,000 admissions last year
• Start date: 3/1/2014-6/31/2014 (opportunity to extend at least 3 months, possible more)
• Candidate must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in EM and completed an emergency medicine residency.
• Day Shift Hours: 7a-7p; 9a-5p. Evenings are 5p-1a. Nights are 7p-3a. Minimum of double coverage, up to triple. Physician’s first few shifts will 9a-5p
• Up to 6 PA on duty including PA-staffed minor care
• # of patients encounters per shift: 20
• EMR: Cerner 1st net. Scribes provided
Along with a competitive hourly rate, Advantage Locums will provide travel and lodging while on assignment. Mal practice is also included.
