Emergency Medicine Physician - (ER Doctor, EM Doctor) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Varied Shift
The Army is looking for a qualified and committed Emergency Medicine physicians to treat the troops and their families at Ft. Bliss Texas, in El Paso. The provider will need to be Board Certified and residency trained thru American Board Of American Medicine. The physician will be working seeing all ages and will either be working an 8 hour or 12 hour shift at varying times throughout the day. The government requires that all doctors are current on their life supports and have a current and non-exempt DEA. This is an ongoing need, so job stability is a bonus with this opportunity.
Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians(locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
Facility Location
From the dramatic views of the Franklin Mountains to the breathtaking scenery of the Rio Grande, there is a lot to take in when visiting El Paso. Bordering the Mexican town of Ciudad Juarez, it is possible for travelers to easily visit the two countries all in the same day. A dominant presence in the history of early Americana and a rich cultural heritage give El Paso a distinctive stance amongst the cities of the Southwest.
