Opportunity for a Physician to join our ED team full-time at Bayfront Health Dade City (formerly Pasco Regional Medical Center) in Dade City, Florida. This employee position comes with comprehensive TeamHealth benefits that include health, vision, and dental insurance; long-term disability; CME; 401k; and more. Preferred consideration will be given to candidates interested in working all night shifts (a night shift differential is offered). Qualified candidates will be BC/BP in Emergency Medicine or BC/BE in Family or Internal Medicine with significant EM experience. Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required. This Joint Commission accredited hospital consistently ranks among the top five percent of hospitals in the nation and holds a five-star rating for General Surgery. A new ED opened January 2012 with three times the previous space, twice as many exam rooms, an imaging suite with an ED-designated CT scanner, paperless charts, designated ambulance bays, decontamination zone, triage rooms, EMS lounge, a unique registration and patient welcome area, and overhead signage to guide patients through their visit. The hospital is a designated primary stroke center and an Accredited Chest Pain Center.
