Emergency Medicine Physician - (ER Doctor, EM Doctor) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Varied Shift
Houston-area facility seeks an Emergency Medicine physician for minimum of 6 shifts per month through September 2014. This facility has an annual volume of 51k with a 33% admission rate and a 25-bed emergency department. ABEM or AOBEM, residency-trained. If not board-certified, ATLS, ACLS and PALS are required. Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians(locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
