Join a private, well-respected and cohesive group of 8 physicians serving a hospital in the seacoast region of NH with roughly 45,000 annual visits. There is a 24/7 angioplasty program in the main ED and the group also runs a very efficient express care program at the hospital. Hospital has a 24/7 Hospitalist program and EM physicians do not write any admissions. Seeking a residency-trained Physician board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine. Physicians work 1500 hours/year with an average of 3 nights/month and 1-2 weekends/month. Shifts are 8 hours except overnight shifts which are 10 hours. Shifts are 7am-3pm, 11am-7pm, 3pm-11pm, 9pm-7am. They also have 4 full-time and 3 part-time mid-levels who provide coverage on the weekend which is 9-9. Compensation is $130/hr for experienced physicians. They offer a 401 matching program and physician is vested in one year. This averages to about $42,000/year. Above and beyond the salary, they offer a pre-tax pool for everyone that covers health insurance, CMEs, computer, eyeglasses, etc. If you do not spend it you get it back, but it would be taxed at that point. They also offer an incentive based bonus based on a mix of volume and RVU's. Partnership is available to those who are interested in further building the group and its reputation.
