ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
Emergency Medicine Provider needed in Virgina

-500 bed facility
-25 bed unit
-41K Annual Volume, no trauma designation, 23% Admit rate
-Provider must be ABEM
-Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine and current certification or active participation in the examination process (with achievement of certification within 5 years) leading to certification in Emergency Medicine by the ABEM or AOBEM.
-Applicants for initial appointment must be able to demonstrate performance of emergency medicine services to 200 patients, reflective of the scope of privileges requested, within the previous 24 months or demonstrate successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency within the previous 12 months-
-BLS is required for moderate sedation (ACLS is acceptable if not BLS certified)
-Physician will work minimum of 6-8 shifts per month
-8 hour shifts
