EmCare is now seeking Full-Time EM Physicians with inpatient/hospitalist experience to join our team at Murray Medical Center.
Requirements: BC/BP EM, FP, IM. ACLS required; ATLS/PALS recommended.
ED Features:
-18,700 annual patient visits
-16-bed ED
-24 hrs phys + 10 hrs. mlp (inpatient/EM) coverage
-Independent contractor status
-A-rated malpractice insurance w/tail
Facility: Murray Medical Center is a 42-bed acute care facility fully accredited by the Joint Commission. The Emergency Department moved into its $8 million expansion in 2007, with qualified EM physicians on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Community: Murray County is known as the Gateway to the Appalachians. It is 1/3 protected forest land, which can never be developed, and offers endless recreational opportunities to residents and visitors alike. Chatsworth, the county seat, is situated a mere 40 miles from Chattanooga and 90 miles from Atlanta, so it's easy to live it up in the big city during the day and still sleep under a blanket of mountain stars. This also means convenient access for commuters and new industry.
