Tahlequah City Hospital is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
• BC/BE
• Minimum ten 12-hour shifts

ABOUT THE FACILITY
In 2008, Tahlequah City Hospital became a regional healthcare provider. As a result, the completion of the west end of the hospital increased the hospital’s capacity to 100 beds. This new facility houses women’s diagnostic services, the new Northeast Oklahoma Cancer Center, an obstetrics unit designed for labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum, and the Alzheimer’s and Dementia unit. As the community continues to grow, so does the hospital’s reputation as a regional healthcare provider.

ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Tahlequah is capital of two tribes, the Cherokee Nation and United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians, and home to Northeastern State University. Cherokee County is also home to two of the area’s most beautiful natural resources – Lake Tenkiller and Illinois River. It is a growing, vibrant city offering a unique blend of history, culture, and commerce for residents and visitors to enjoy. Located at the western boundary of the Ozark Mountains and surrounded by lakes, rivers, and breathtaking natural beauty, our city is a popular destination for travelers from near and far.
