Emergency Medicine Physician - (ER Doctor, EM Doctor) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day
Houston area facility seeks board-certified or eligible Emergency Medicine physician who can provide approximately 6 shifts per month. These are 12-hour shifts in a freestanding, 8-bed emergency department. The patient census is all ages and typical of suburban population. ACLS, ATLS and PALS are required. Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians(locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
