Opportunity for a physician to join our ED team full-time at Bear Valley Community Hospital in Big Bear Lake, California. Located in the San Bernardino Mountains, this 5-bed, 10,000-volume ED is part of an excellent medical environment with a commitment to quality care. Physicians work 24-hour shifts with APC coverage during the busier winter months of November through March. Hospital services include acute respiratory care, physical therapy, and comprehensive diagnostic imaging. Candidates for this position must be board certified in emergency medicine or in a primary care specialty (internal or family medicine) with extensive emergency medicine experience. ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications are required.
Approximately 115 miles from Los Angeles, 60 miles East of Ontario Airport, and 40 miles from Loma Linda, you’ll find Big Bear Lake.
