Seeking an Emergency Physician for a Medical Center in central Maine. BE/BC in Emergency Medicine preferred. ED staff includes 9-10 physicians and 6-7 PAs with 22-23 beds in newly renovated department. We are a Level II ED with an annual volume of 35,000 to 38,000. Schedule is 36 clinical hours/week. Medical backup is available from a staff of 240 physicians, including the Hospitalist Service.
Centrally located in the lakes region, this is a short drive away from ski resorts and the beautiful Maine Coast. Portland, Maine\'s largest city is only an hour\'s drive south and Boston is about three (3) hours down the interstate.
