This is an excellent opportunity to join 18 existing physicians who are looking to hire 5 to 6 additional physicians to provide ED coverage. The main ED is a Level II Trauma center. All doctors will rotate between three EDs to include the main ED, Urgent Care facility and a new freestanding ED. The main ED saw over 70,000 patients in 2010 and the Urgent Care saw 35,000 patients.
There are currently an average of 15 shifts per month. Shifts are 8 to 9 hours per shift. There are a total of 4 shifts per day with 3 being consecutive for 24 hours and 1 being double coverage. Double coverage is generally through the heaviest volume times, i.e., 11 - 11 or 12 - 9.
Candidate may expect to be paid a base rate with incentives for the number of patients seen AND the % collected. Your estimated earnings are $350,000.
