We are actively seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our organization. We currently have 20 physicians and are looking to hire one more. You will provide services in the Main ED which is a Level II Trauma and you will rotate among the main ED, Urgent Care Center and the new freestanding ED. The main ED saw over 70,000 patients in 2010 with the Urgent Care Center seeing 35,000. There is an average of 15 shifts per month, with shifts being 8 to 9 hours. There are 4 total shifts each day with 3 being consecutive for 24 hours and 1 being double covers. Double coverage is generally through the heaviest volume periods (11-11 or 12-9). Physicians are paid a base rate with incentive for the number of patients seen and a percentage of collections.
