Leadership Opportunity as Assistant Medical Director for our ED team at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, New York. Qualified candidates will be trained and board certified or prepared in Emergency Medicine. The ED treats about 40,000 patients per year with double and triple physician coverage (60 hours of physician coverage and 12 hours of APC coverage per day).
Binghamton is near the Pennsylvania border, in a bowl-shaped valley at the confluence of the Susquehanna and Chenango Rivers. As the county seat of Broome County, the city is the principal city and cultural center of the Greater Binghamton metropolitan area (also known as the Triple Cities), home to a quarter million people.
