• Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) is a regional medical center that’s recognized as a true community resource serving Clinton, Essex and Franklin counties. It is the area’s largest employer, with 2,250+ employees and a member of the University of Vermont Health Network.
• As an organization that strives to be an excellent employer, CVPH recognizes the importance of providing their employees a safe and rewarding environment.
• The University of Vermont Health Network is a four-hospital network serving patients and their families in northern New York and Vermont.
• Programs & Services
o 24 hour physician staffed Emergency Care Center

• Primary care physicians at CVPH are participating in the Adirondack Region Medical Home Pilot, the largest of its kind in the entire country. The pilot project is designed to appropriately reimburse physicians while facilitating the ability to provide preventive care, chronic disease management, and coordination of services for optimal outcomes. Over 100 physicians at five hospitals are active in the project, which spans an area from 120 miles south of the Canadian border to 60 miles west of Lake Champlain.
ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
• Plattsburg lies in the Champlain Valley near the Adirondack Mountains, Montreal, and the Olympic-Lake Placid region. It is just a short drive to Burlington, Vermont, the Green Mountains, and the famous Olympic ski village in the Adirondacks. We’re also in reach of Albany, and better yet, just 60 miles from Montreal, Quebec.
• Plattsburg’s location between the mountains, alongside Lake Champlain, is a haven for professionals who love the outdoors, but still want to be close to metropolitan centers of activity. Living here means that you can ski Whiteface, shop Montreal and dine in Vermont – all in one weekend. Plattsburgh is a great escape from the ordinary!
