Opportunity for a physician to join our ED team full-time at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, New York. This Level III trauma hospital maintains a newly renovated ED with 28 ED beds and 6 Fast Track beds. The ED sees an annual patient volume of 40,000. The selected candidate will be board certified either in emergency medicine or in a primary care specialty with ED experience and ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.
Binghamton is near the Pennsylvania border, in a bowl-shaped valley at the confluence of the Susquehanna and Chenango Rivers. As the county seat of Broome County, the city is the principal city and cultural center of the Greater Binghamton metropolitan area (also known as the Triple Cities), home to a quarter million people.
