Two Emergency Medicine Physicians Needed in Las Cruces, New Mexico

Memorial Medical Center of Las Cruces, Las Cruces, New Mexico is seeking two (2) Emergency Medicine physicians to join their team.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Requirements
• Emergency Medicine Residency graduate
• Board Certified or Eligible Emergency Medicine
• New Mexico Medical license MD or DO

Practice Structure
• Democratic, practitioner owned group
• Income based on fee for service
• Average monthly schedule 120 hours
• 8 hour shifts, 40 hours coverage/day
• 6 month conditional trial period prior to becoming senior partner
• Fully vested retirement package begins after one year of practice.

Financial
• RGEMA maintains a contract with Pettigrew Medical Billing for collections
• Hourly compensation for conditional member’s $190/hour
• Hospital paid moving expenses
• Hospital paid recruiting fees
• Senior partners:
o Hospital income guaranty $200/hour excluding practice expenses
o Hospital incentive program offers an additional $20/ hour if conditions met
o Hourly compensation based on fee for service/RGEMA collections

Emergency Department
• 42,000 visits/year
• Certified Chest Pain Center
• 12 hour/day Nurse Practitioner coverage
• Located adjacent Cardiac Cath Lab
• Hospitalist admissions for unassigned patients
• Helipad located in front of department
• Total departmental integration with EMR “Codonix”
• Department Ultrasound unit
• Newly designed front end process utilizing Mid-level Providers
