CAEP at Aultman Hospital
Our main base of operation is at Aultman Hospital, a locally managed, not-for-profit teaching hospital in Canton, Ohio. Aultman is the county’s largest hospital and employer, with 682 beds, 530 active physicians and over 5,000 staff members.
With a Level II Trauma Center and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Aultman is a tertiary referral center for a six-county area encompassing cardiac, neonatal, high-risk pregnancy, trauma and pulmonary cases. Aultman Hospital has an accredited Chest Pain center, and JCAHO-Certified Stroke Center. At this brand new facility, you will work with highly trained specialists and have access to state-of-the-art equipment (including ED ultrasound) and technology including CPOE and Dragon Voice Recognition.
CAEP Urgent Care
CAEP staffs two urgent care centers that are operated by Aultman Hospital offering a change of pace from a busy emergency department. Both facilities are located in large, off-campus centers, away from the main hospital that also feature out-patient surgical centers and extensive physical and cardiac rehab areas. Total census for the two sites is approximately 55,000 patients a year. Aultman West is a six-bed facility located in Massillon Ohio with RN, LPN, and rad-tech support. Aultman North is an eight-bed facility located in North Canton with similar staffing.

This critical access facility has been serving the Orrville and the Wayne County area for over 50 years. Aultman Orrville Hospital believes in the promotion of healthy lifestyles and focuses on family centered care. Our six year-old emergency department has 10 beds as well as a PACS system and established transfer agreements.
