Emergency Medicine - Level 3 - (ER - Level 3) Locum Tenens
A full service, non-profit, Critical Access Hospital in North Carolina is currently seeking an Emergency Medicine physician. The Emergency Medicine physician will cover blocks of day shifts in a 16,000 annual volume facility. Responsibilities will include evaluating, stabilizing and transporting patients in this Level II Emergency Department.
Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians (locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
Required Qualifications
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, by either ABEM/AOBEM or AAPS., or Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine. Current North Carolina medical license is also required.
