Job Description & Requirements

Emergency Medicine - Level 2 - (ER - Level 2) Locum Tenens

Excellent and modern Maine ER is seeking ABEM/AOBEM/FP/IM/GS/PEDS physicians. Department which sees approximately 13,000 visits annually. The physician's responsibilities will include stabilizing, evaluating and diagnosing patients in the Emergency Room. Shifts are 12 hours. ATLS required if you are not ABEM/AOBEM.

Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians(locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
