Pediatric Emergency Physician - (EM Peds, ER Peds) Locum Tenens
Palm Beach area facility seeks a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician for 3-6 months of coverage. Must be board-certified Pediatrics with experience working in an emergency department setting or board-certified PEM fellowship-trained and have PALS certification. 12-hour shifts available. Specializing in the diagnosis and care of children and teenagers who are acutely ill, suffering from life-threatening conditions or injured, pediatric emergency physicians(locum tenens) are required to treat a plethora of ailments. These physicians must be able to deal with medical emergencies, often treating patients who have incurred trauma or are suffering from exotic illnesses. As with any pediatric specialty, easing anxiety and pain is paramount in pediatric emergency care.
