Emergency Medicine Physician - (ER Doctor, EM Doctor) Locum Tenens

The VA is looking for a board certified or board eligible physician to treat the patients at the Lebanon VAMC in Pennsylvania. The provider will need to have a current BLS and ACLS, as well as a current DEA. The VA would prefer to have a provider that has previous VA experience and is current in the Vet-Pro system. The schedule will be 12 hour shifts on rotating basis and the facility needs at least 14 shifts a month covered for a minimum of 6 months. This a level II ER and will be seeing and treating all acuities and all ages.

Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians(locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
