Emergency Medicine Physician - (ER Doctor, EM Doctor) Locum Tenens
Emergency Medicine
o Need coverage for April-Aug 2017
o 8-10 Shifts per month
o 30,000 visits per year
o 160 bed hospital, Trauma Level III
o Shifts will be 11 hours
o Double and triple coverage- Currently all MD coverage and always at least double
o Admit rate is 22%
o EMR system is Cerner
Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians(locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
