Western Pennsylvania Location Looking for a full time, BC Emergency Medicine Physician
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
• The Conemaugh Physician Group, a dynamic, growing multi-specialty integrated group practice, is seeking a board certified Emergency Medicine Physician for Miners Medical Center in Hastings, PA.
• The position will serve as Emergency Room Physician at Miners Medical Center which has an EM volume of 10,000 annual visits.
• This employed practice includes 12 Hour shifts, single coverage
• The average patient census is 2 per hour
• There is aero medical support
• Included is a competitive salary, comprehensive benefit package, and paid malpractice with tail coverage.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
• Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center has 10 general rooms (3 minimally invasive suites/robotic assisted surgery and soon 2 vascular suites), 2 cardiac rooms,1 cysto room, 1 litho room, 2 obstetric rooms plus 6 ambulatory surgery rooms (Lee Campus) and 2 rooms for locals (Lee Campus).
• Conemaugh Health System has recently been acquired by Duke LifePoint Healthcare. As part of Duke LifePoint, Conemaugh Health System will strengthen its operations and enhance its ability to thrive in the future.
• Duke LifePoint will invest $425 million in Conemaugh’s facilities over the next 10 years, and the proceeds from the purchase price will be used by a locally governed charitable foundation to fund future programs to meet community needs.
• All of Conemaugh Health System’s core services will be maintained, and Duke LifePoint will provide resources to expand and enhance services that Conemaugh’s communities need. Also, Duke LifePoint has adopted Conemaugh Health System’s current charity care policy.
