Opportunity for a Physician to join our Pediatric Emergency Medicine team full-time at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital in The Woodlands, Texas. This Level III trauma center is licensed for 252 beds and supports a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department next to the Adult Emergency Department that sees high-acuity patients and has an annual patient volume of 39,000. The hospital sees moderate trauma and has a Level II chest pain center as well as a stroke center. With an admission rate of 26 percent, the ED has a CIM/Scribe program that began in February 2013 and provides 40 hours of physician and 20 hours of mid-level coverage daily. In March 2015, the hospital will be operating as a Level II trauma center.
