Dermatologist - Physician - (Dermatology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 10/03/2014Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Hospital seeking Board Certified Dermatologist to join growing practice.
- Flexible schedule and can accept candidates for part or full time availability
-no surgeries required, another Dermatologist on staff available for referrals
-approximately 14 patients seen in the am, 14 patients in the pm
-EPIC EMRs - orientation day will be provided
-no call coverage required
-each dermatologist will have 2 RNs and 2 rooms
-candidates can start as soon as June, credentialing takes approximately 30-60 days.
The field of dermatology(locum tenens) focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the skin, such as acne, rashes, and warts, as well as various types of skin cancer. A dermatologist assesses their patients' condition and medical history, performing minimally invasive diagnostic tests. In terms of treatment, dermatologists prescribe preventive medications such as topical ointments or creams and perform surgical procedures when necessary, such as in the removal of tumors or suspicious moles.
