This large multispecialty group is looking for a dermatologist. Average earnings for the two existing dermatologists here is well over $500,000. The schedule would be 8 am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday with no call. One of the dermatologists works 4 ½ days and the other works 3 ½ days. The work is general dermatology. There is not must plastic work here. There is a plastic surgeon there now. This multispecialty group has 95 physicians and is the largest in clinic in Arkansas. The group is physician owned and governed. They serve primarily one hospital which is adjacent to the clinic. They have sixteen offices in Northwest Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma. All incoming physicians are brought in on a two year partnership track with no buy-in requirement. Initially, physicians are paid a guaranteed salary for two years then convert to production. If a physician’s income exceeds the guarantee during that two year period, the physician keeps the overage. The earnings potential is excellent. Physicians here consistently earn in the 75th to 100th percentile of MGMA survey statistics. Physician satisfaction is at an all-time high. Fort Smith offers a great quality of life. The immediate population is 85,000 but has a draw area population of 300,000. Three of the five top grade schools in the state are here. The University of Arkansas at Ft. Smith is here. Shopping here is good and there are more options in nearby Tulsa and Fayetteville.
