Dermatologist - Physician - (Dermatology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Hospital in California is in need of a board certified dermatologist for locums tenens coverage to help with outpatient and call needs. This coverage is needed until a permanent hire is made for the practice. Client is interested in candidates for locum to permanent as well.
The field of dermatology(locum tenens) focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the skin, such as acne, rashes, and warts, as well as various types of skin cancer. A dermatologist assesses their patients' condition and medical history, performing minimally invasive diagnostic tests. In terms of treatment, dermatologists prescribe preventive medications such as topical ointments or creams and perform surgical procedures when necessary, such as in the removal of tumors or suspicious moles.
Required Qualifications
Board Certified or true Board Eligible, within 5 years.
