Dermatologist - Physician - (Dermatology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 06/05/2014Available Shifts: 40 Hours/Week
General Dermatology
- Location: Near Chicago
- Clinic days: Monday Through Thursday
- Hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM
- No Call
- Additional information: no MOHS, some laser, 35 patients per day, full support staff, EPIC is their electronic medical record system
The field of dermatology(locum tenens) focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the skin, such as acne, rashes, and warts, as well as various types of skin cancer. A dermatologist assesses their patients' condition and medical history, performing minimally invasive diagnostic tests. In terms of treatment, dermatologists prescribe preventive medications such as topical ointments or creams and perform surgical procedures when necessary, such as in the removal of tumors or suspicious moles.

Known as The Forest City, Rockford is located just outside of the Chicago metro area. Here you'll find the area's popular elm trees — along with a number of various trees and other plants — lining the streets of the city.
