Dermatologist - Physician - (Dermatology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Board Certified or Board Eligible Dermatologist to provide coverage for 6 months with (2) 6 month options. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm. No Call. Overtime on occasion with prior approval. See approximately 20 patients per day. Perform consults, make electronic progress notes, schedule return visits, writing orders for lab & x-ray, prescribing medications. Provide coverage on inpatients & outpatients. Must have Advanced Cardiac life Support & Basic Cardiac Life Support.. Routine clinical & administrative duties. Any State License.
The field of dermatology(locum tenens) focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the skin, such as acne, rashes, and warts, as well as various types of skin cancer. A dermatologist assesses their patients' condition and medical history, performing minimally invasive diagnostic tests. In terms of treatment, dermatologists prescribe preventive medications such as topical ointments or creams and perform surgical procedures when necessary, such as in the removal of tumors or suspicious moles.
