Dermatologist - Physician - (Dermatology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
A Dermatologist is needed to provide services on a locum tenens basis at this hospital for an ongoing length of time. The start date begins immediately at the completion of credentialing and privileging. Working hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The field of dermatology(locum tenens) focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the skin, such as acne, rashes, and warts, as well as various types of skin cancer. A dermatologist assesses their patients' condition and medical history, performing minimally invasive diagnostic tests. In terms of treatment, dermatologists prescribe preventive medications such as topical ointments or creams and perform surgical procedures when necessary, such as in the removal of tumors or suspicious moles.
Required Qualifications
The physician must have an active Basic Life Support and DEA card prior to the start date.
