The Bay Pines VA Healthcare system is seeking a Physician (Dermatologist) in Medicine Service for the C.W. Bill YoungVA Healthcare Center located in Bay Pines,FL. The candidatemust be fully trained in Dermatology from an accredited training program in the United States. Ideal candidates will be board eligible/board certified. Responsibilities include outpatient dermatology clinics, inpatient consultation and treatment, teaching, and research. Active engagement in education of medical students and residents at all levels is required. Other duties the selectee will be responsible for include: Evaluating, diagnosing, consulting, and ordering diagnostic studies Performing surgical and non-surgical dermatology procedures on the skin and to particular skin lesions as appropriate on all ages who have presented with injuries or diseases of the skin. Providing consultative series on patients referred from other sections of the Hospital and affiliated outpatient clinics.
