The Orlando VA Medical Center is seeking a well-qualified dermatologist with innovative leadership skills, and excellent interpersonal skills that demonstrates positive team spirit to join our staff as Section Chief of Dermatology. The position reports to the Chief of Medical Service and the selected candidate will provide administrative, clinical, and programmatic leadership to ensure performance measure success and quality of care are maintained with development of the program. Responsibilities include planning, developing and directing all administrative and clinical functions of the Dermatology division, including support of community based outpatient clinics. The incumbent will foster excellence in patient care and help the department maintain the highest professional, education, and administrative standards. Specific duties will include Supervision and recruitment for the Dermatology Section. Supervision and recruitment for new services to support the Dermatology Program. Development of Residency and fellowship programs in association with the academic affiliates. Collaborate with Orlando VA Medical Center in research development.
