NOTE1: Appointment, grade and salary of hybrid Title 38 positions are subject to the recommendation of the Professional Standards Board and final approval by the Medical Center Director. NOTE2: Salary is prorated for hours worked. Physician will be assigned to the Dermatology Service in Miami and Broward and will also provide care to patients thru Tele-medicine . As a board certified or board eligible Dermatologist, the clinician independently provides direct patient care, including assessing and prescribing treatment for health problems, health promotion and preventive care within this specialized area of practice. The clinician collects data on patients to include all history, physical, laboratories, and radiographic data and other diagnostic testing as indicated; formulates an individual treatment regiment according to the patient's needs. Manages the dermatology residency program. Reviews resident staff notes for appropriate treatment regiment and accuracy. Provides guidance on the principles of health teaching, disease prevention, and health promotion. Evaluates treatment regiment for effectiveness and make the necessary adjustments. Manages treatment modalities within parameters. Writes admission, pre-operative, post-operative, and discharge orders on patients.
