TOUR OF DUTY: Monday Friday, 7:45am 4:30pm, with call rotation, as necessary. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing duties to include, but not limited to the following: Provides patient care in the form of primary and/or consultative care, including follow-up care as necessary; Provides guidance and support to assigned mid-level practitioners; Prepares and presents lectures, including Grand Rounds participation, in support of the medical center's education mission; Conducts patient examinations incident to formal C&P examinations, as needed; Assists in the development and conduct of research studies, as appropriate, and promotes and facilitates research amongst students, residents, and fellows comprising Salem VAMC's affiliate training program; Provides formal education, training, supervision, and guidance for medical students, residents, and fellows, as necessary; Provides clinical and administrative oversight for the Dermatology Section; and Performs other patient care related duties, as necessary.
