Dermatologist - Physician - (Dermatology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
A clinic in south Florida is looking for a Dermatologist to help assist with a start-up practice for general and cosmetic dermatology. The client is looking for a candidate that has availability for a few days a month for coverage.
The field of dermatology(locum tenens) focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the skin, such as acne, rashes, and warts, as well as various types of skin cancer. A dermatologist assesses their patients' condition and medical history, performing minimally invasive diagnostic tests. In terms of treatment, dermatologists prescribe preventive medications such as topical ointments or creams and perform surgical procedures when necessary, such as in the removal of tumors or suspicious moles.
